Find Me Quickly and Easily

I just created my very own smartphone scanning barcode!  YAY!  Now you can find me quickly and easily with your smartphone by just scanning this image and it will redirect you to my site!  How cool is that???

I promise to come back later on today and post a "real" post but I was so excited to share this.  I know I'm probably the last person to figure this out, but nonetheless, I did it all by my lonesome which is a huge deal since I'm technology-challenged!

January Scrap Club

Hi Everyone!  Thought I'd take a break from all my Leadership posts and share with you the layouts that my Scrapbooking Club worked on this month.  I use My Digital Studio to come up with the layout and email that to everyone in my club so that they know what the general layout will be, how many pictures they'll need, the size of the pictures, etc... I personally prefer to re-create the layouts the "old-fashion" way though.  If you're interested in trying out My Digital Studio, contact me and I'll hook you up with a 30 day FREE trial!

Here are the two layouts we did:

This layout is of my two big guys.  During our trip to Tobermory, while exploring the Flowerpot Island, they came across a "throne" looking rock formation.  They both took a turn sitting on it and I thought since it's their birthdays they can be "king"!

Here are my little guys at the end of the summer enjoying one last trip to Wonderland.  They absolutely LOVE the splash park and we will most definitely be going again once the weather permits.  As for my big guys, they were off on the big kid slides so unfortunately there aren't any pictures of them.

Thanks for looking!

Leadership Contest Winners

Hi Everyone!  Hope you had a great weekend.  I was so crazy busy that I didn't have a chance to even get on my computer for more than 5 minutes, let alone do anything productive.  I had a all day scrapbooking event on Saturday and I tripled booked myself on Sunday...oops...but it all worked out and today is my recovery day, and what better way to recover and relax then going through Leadership pictures to get inspired and motivated, right?
So I'm going to share with you some of the winners from the Stampin' Up Leadership Attendee contest. To enter, all we had to do was create a card or scrapbook page using a stamp set from the 2012 Occasions Mini Catalogue.

Here are some pictures of some of my favourites:

This card was created using "Love & Laughter" and is just simply elegant.  There is something about a black and white card that appeals to me.

Another one of my favourite colour combinations.  This card was made with "Rue Des Fleurs" and has so many layers and details.  One word...WOW!

The creator of this card used "Bordering On Romance" and created this wonderful piece of art.  I can't even tell you how much I love this card so I'll let it speak for itself.

To be totally honest, I have this set and ONLY because it was given to me for participating in a challenge that Stampin' Up recently held.  But after seeing this card, I am so glad that I have it.  Isn't this just sooo cute?  "Gnome Sweet Gnome" is just one of those sets that you can let your imagination run wild!

And last but definitely not least, this "Tea Shoppe" card is just breathtaking.  From the colour combination to the attention to detail, this card is just gorgeous!

My sincerest apologies to the creators of these cards since I cannot give you proper credit.  Congratulations to you all and thank you for inspiring me!

Leadership Highlights

I know! I know!  I'm a week behind and there have been updates even before we left San Antonio, but better late than never right? Heehee...

Here are some pictures of the most memorable moments of Leadership to me.  Keep in mind that it was first time attending any Stampin' UP event and I was most definitely in awe!

This is my first official Leadership picture taken on Wednesday morning on our way to the Convention Center.  Blair was the one who smuggled me across the border...j/k...although she was the one kind enough to drive me to Buffalo even though we only officially met that morning.  Only stampers would be that crazy, I mean trusting, to do something like that!

Christyne, Blair, and I chatting with Dale Hampshire about our angle and came up with something BRILLIANT!  I'm sure it'll be the next big thing!  S.I.N with Stampin' UP!  Doesn't that sound fun???

Inking up my first stamp at my first ever Stampin' UP event was awesome!  It was official at that very moment...I was in the Big Leagues!!! WOOHOO!

These ladies are just amazing!  I met them the night before and they welcomed me with open arms.  I feel as though I've known them for a long time.  This picture was snapped of Claudia, Cristena, and I at Manager's Reception just before we headed in to the theatre for the main show.

Two words....PRIZE PATROL!!!!  All I can say is WOW!  Stampin' Up really makes it worth your while in information and prizes!  I almost had to buy another luggage to bring everything home...not that I'm complaining.

It was time to say good-bye.  Definitely NOT one of my favourite moments but I am glad I attended Leadership and I couldn't think of a better group of women with whom I would have wanted to share this experience with.

WOW!  Talk about a long post! So I will end it now but I will be back tomorrow to share some pictures of projects and cards, as well as some "tourist" pictures of San Antonio.

Thanks for looking!

Back From Leadership

I am back from Leadership in San Antonio and I can't even begin to tell you how much I've learned in 4 days and how inspired and motivated I am.  I will make a very conscience effort to post at least twice a week so that I can fill you all in on different projects, ideas, and workshops I have up my sleeve.

I have so many exciting things to share but I'll keep you in suspense for a little while longer since I have turned into quite the old lady and my bed is calling me.  I just wanted to post to say that I'm still alive...lol!

I'm going to share my FAVOURITE picture of all the hundreds that I took with you now though.....

I met Shelli Gardner!  Isn't she soooo cute!?  And she's SUPER nice to boot!  I truly work for one of the BEST companies EVER!
