Easter Treats

Happy Belated Easter Everyone!  Boy it's been so hectic here that I can't believe it's already Wednesday...no scratch that...I can't believe it's already almost MAY!  3 days left of these "April Showers"..."May Flowers" better be around the corner and well worth the wait!  Anyways, I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend with family and friends, we sure did.  Here's a quick run down of our weekend...Friday we were at my in-laws' house for dinner (which is about half an hour away), Saturday we were at my parents' house (an hour away), Sunday we were back at my in-laws', and Monday we were back at my parents'.  Yep...we were literally all over the place this weekend!

Here's a look at what I prepared for my kids' for their classes...luckily I was a little prepared and had this done a couple of weeks before.  Ok fine, it wasn't my doing...lol...I borrowed the punch from my upline's upline and had to give it back so I HAD to get it all punched out, and once that was done I couldn't just leave the pieces laying around...3 pieces per basket x 70 kids =  A LOT of pieces!

I used the Petal Card Punch to punch out the shape and used three to assemble the basket.  I then punched out a small hole on both sides and used a wired string to create the handle.  These cute little baskets perfectly fit one chocolate coin and two eggs.  Here's a few more angles...
