Can't Wait...Bring On The PINK!!!

Hey Everyone...it's been since a crazy but great weekend!!  Happy Belated Family Day!  We took the kids up north for a winter fun filled weekend that included skating, skiing, swimming (I know this isn't really "winter" but my kids are like fish, so where there's water chances are they're in it!), tobagganning, snowshoe-ing, and just quality family time.  It was a great resort since it was private so my older boys were able to go off and do things together with some friends they met there if they didn't want to do what the younger kids wanted to do, and it gave DH and I peace of mind that they weren't going to get lost or worse.  Definately a family oriented and kid friendly place!!  So now that we're back, I'm just trying to get back into the swing of things and realized that I'm late with my posting AGAIN!!  lol...

So on that note here's the invitation that I made for my brother and Lisa's baby shower.

The base is a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Elegant Eggplant cardstock.  The text was printed on Whisper White cardstock, then mounted on Elegant Eggplant and Sahara Sand.  I just LOVE the ultrasound picture!!  She's sucking her thumb and it was the PERFECT picture!  The picure was also mounted with the same combination as the text.  I wanted to give the "Registered At" piece a softer look, so I punched it out with the Modern Label Punch and then slid it into the circle punch to round off the end since it was too long.  The finishing touch was the "Please Join Us for A Baby Shower" which was computer generated and printed on vellum.  I think this invite came together beautifully just like my niece will be!
