I'm An UPLINE...WOOHOO!!!

Hello Fellow Stampers!  I am so happy to announce that a few weeks ago I signed my very first recruit and I am EXTREMELY excited about it!  I've been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for a few years now but I was more of a hobbyist than anything else.  But recently I decided that I would like to share what I've learned throughout the years and in the process hopefully be able to supplement part of this hobby! lol.  So it is with honour that I welcome Kathleen Collins to my team and hopefully she will be the first of many (if you join my team you'll be a lucky recipient of one of these beauties as well!)

To show my appreciation I made Kathleen this card:

The image is one that my upline, Christyne stamped out for me.  You may recognize it as the Stampin' Up! motto and an extremely rare stamp that was available at Convention last year...I would LOVE to get my hot little hands on one of those but in the meantime I know where I can get some images if need be.

I started off by punching out the image with the Decorative Label Punch, then I punched out the shape two more times in Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant.  I then cut the shape in half and snipped off the ends and spaced them out to create a border around the main image that was stamped in Elegant Eggplant onto Very Vanilla.  A stripe of DSP matted on the same colour combination as the image, finished off with a Very Vanilla satin bow was all it took to make this card.
